Aries New Moon 2016 Time for a Breakthrough

Above is my video of the Aries New Moon 2016. Watch it and notice the amount of planets in Aries, a strong contrast to last month when there was an emphasis on the emotional water sign of Pisces.
It’s Spring and traditionally the time to plant seeds, set goals and initiate new projects.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, with its vibrant fresh energy wanting us to move into new territory.

The most significant factor of this New Moon is the close conjunction with Uranus, planet of invention and breakdowns/breakthroughs.

Top 6 Tips to work with the Aries New Moon 2016
However, many factors tell us to wait a while. Here are my top 6 tips to work with this powerful and complex New Moon over the next 2 weeks.
1. There is a huge imbalance of the elements. Fire dominates, and although there are some planets in the earth and water elements there are no planets are in air (communication).
Apart from the Moon, we will have to wait until May 21st when the Sun moves into Gemini to have a planet in the air element. Plus the fire element is cardinal which signifies action, NOW!
Recognise that communications can get stuck. You may experience difficulting in co-operating with others. Wait for the Moon to move into Gemini on Sunday April 10th until for 2 days to have a clear head to make decisions.
2. There are 4 planets in impatient Aries. Aries is bold, acts on impulse but can be reckless. Its the first fire sign, and fire -when its out of control -is dangerous.
This can be interpreted as a strong urge to move forward, no matter what stands in the way. We want it done now, and our needs met immediately. However, power struggles and fights come from control. The birth is imminent but now isn’t the time to push.
Cool down. If you feel yourself getting impatient and too ‘pushy’ take time off, go for a walk, or meditate. Remember do you want to be right or happy?
3. Uranus conjunct the New Moon. This New Moon is joining Uranus, the most unpredictable planet. In the traditional tarot this is the Fool. However Uranus is highly creative, so channel this impatience by tuning into your Higher Mind.
Moment to Moment- Learn to Dance on the shifting carpet. I chose this card above as it helps to deal with the unsettled nervous energy of Uranus.

What bold new project can you start to germinate? Be flexible and willing to change plans. Impulsive action can result in a crash and burn.
3. The ruler of Aries is Mars, currently in the fellow fire sign of Sagittarius. However Mars is travelling really slowly through the zodiac. It stays at 8 degrees of Sagittarius through the whole of April. The reason being that Mars is about to go retrograde on April 18th until June 29th.
Keep grounded. Move and drive with added awareness of your surroundings watch out for reckless behaviour. Exercises that build muscle-especially gardening as its so grounding-will be a positive way to use this energy.
4. Saturn is supporting this lunation. Its the planet of resistance but also the planet of maturity and governs time. Before launching anything new, we need to ensure the plan and structure is solid.
Listen to the voice of experience and take the counsel of your elders or Inner Wise Man/Woman. Any authority conflict will take you off your centre.
5. Aries is The Emperor in the tarot-the true masculine and partner to The Empress. The week ahead promises romance and passion as Venus and Mars connect in a trine on April 12th. Plus the Sun moves into Taurus (The Empress) on Tuesday 19th April just before the Full Moon in Scorpio on April 22nd.
Love yourself. Be Aphrodite or Mars. Treat yourself to something that lifts your heart. Red tulips are my present to myself today.
6. Pluto goes retrograde in Capricorn on April 18th until September 26th. This is a once yearly occurrence but it’s happening close to the day when Mars goes retrograde. Pluto as God of the Underworld can uncover what has been suppressed, hidden and buried. A retrograde planet is like a rewinding, returning to the past and reviewing. It is a planet that mainly governs the collective. The scandal breaking in the UK is about Tax Havens. Tax and other people’s money is Pluto’s territory.
