Full Moon in Libra: Endings and Beginnings
The Full Moon is on Sunday April 13th at 01.22 BST in London UK at 23 Libra. At last the Eclipse season is over and its the endings of the retrogrades.
Libra is ruled by Venus, so this is a time to find balance and harmony in our lives. The Tarot card Justice indicates Fairness, Truth, and Law, logic over emotion — seeing things objectively and seeking balance in life and decisions.
The Full Moon has a stellium in Pisces with Venus, Saturn, North Node and Mercury. Pisces represents unity, acceptance and empathy. Venus is exalted in Pisces.
However the Sun in Aries is joined by Chiron, the Archetype of The Wounded Healer.
Venus goes direct less than an hour after the Full Moon
Venus is now a Morning Star as it more than 10 degrees ahead of the Sun. Venus joins Saturn for the third time on April 25th a day to commit to love and self love, to value our maturity and our hard won achievements. It moves direct on April 13th and will return to Aries on April 30th. It joins Neptune on May 2nd.
Venus brightest around April 27
“Venus is the brightest planet we see from Earth. It outshines all other objects in our sky, except the Sun and Moon. And, every so often, Venus has a time of greatest brilliancy. Venus will reach its next peak brilliancy on April 27th. It will then be at its brightest in the Morning sky for 2025. The planets Saturn and Mercury will lie nearby, but lower on the horizon and they might be challenging to spot in the bright morning twilight.” From Earth Sky website
Mercury in Pisces changing sign into Aries
Mercury changed sign back into Pisces on March 30th where it lacks focus, but can be highly intuitive or psychic as seen in the charts of musicians and artists. Also there may be a strong interest in angels and charity as Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the highest vibration of Venus representing compassion. Finally it changes sign into Aries where it joins Neptune on April 17th.
Mars is changing sign into Leo
Mars moved direct on February 24th, and remains in Cancer until April 18th when it moves into the fire sign Leo. This ends the long journey of Mars in the water sign of Cancer, so is really good news. Mars was last in Leo on November 4th until January 6th 2025, so we have had a weak Mars ruled by the Moon all year until this week. Cancer is a water sign ruled by the Moon—it’s sensitive, intuitive, protective, and often tied to home, family, and emotional security. Instead of blowing up, with Mars in Cancer we may withdraw, sulk, or express anger through passive-aggression.
Leo rules the heart so Mars in Leo is ambitious and thrives when leading, inspiring, or being in the spotlight. Recognition motivates Mars in Leo. Its highly creative and full of passion. We now get the go ahead and revive what may have started last year. Now is the time to shine.

Best Report for Chiron and the Asteroid Goddesses
Would you like to know more about your capacity to nurture, marital relationships, problem solving skills, sexuality and healing power?
This Report explore aspects of spirituality and empowerment in the realm of the feminine.
This Asteroid Report by Viniita Hutchinson gives interpretations of the four major asteroids Ceres, Juno, Vesta, and Pallas Athena and Chiron, which can shed light on these important areas of human experience.
The Asteroid Goddesses
The asteroids lie in a belt that orbits between Mars and Jupiter. It is now known that this belt is comprised of thousands of asteroids, but the first four were discovered in the late 19th century, many years in advance of the rest.
These four asteroids were named after four major Olympic goddesses, which happened to redress the gender imbalance among the primarily male planetary deities that populate the horoscope. Thus it was that Ceres, Juno, Vesta, and Pallas Athena came along at the time of the birth of the women’s movement in the nineteenth century.
- Ceres shows your capacity to nurture and what you really care about.
- Juno clarifies how you deal with committed personal relationships.
- Vesta can give your keys to how you express your sexuality. Vesta is also the Keeper of the Sacred Flame.
- Pallas Athena shows your approach to solving problems creatively.
- Chiron gives clues to where you can be a mentor or a healer.
Each of the asteroids and Chiron are described by:
- The sign they inhabit in your chart
- The house in which they are found
- Aspects made to other points in your natal chart
The astrological portraits of the asteroids and Chiron have emerged through the observations of fascinated astrologers over the last century. This report informs you of their symbolic meaning and gives you insight into how they operate in your own horoscope.
With the Sun conjunct Chiron at the Full Moon this report is invaluable!
